Strategies for Oppositional Children
When the pandemic hit in March, virtual schooling was an adjustment for everyone. Students quickly adapted to virtual learning, and we all did our best to try and adjust to our “new normal.” Over time, virtual learning has become monotonous for many children. The environment plays a key role in this. Many students benefit from the structure of a classroom; therefore, learning from home can pose many challenges/distractions that may not be present in the school environment. With that being said, many teachers are noticing an increase in oppositional behaviors in their students.
