Life Skills for Success

Being prepared is half of the battle. Knowing that our children will one day be adults, it is crucial that we introduced them to various life skills. As stated by Dr. Garima Srivastava from the White Swan Foundation, there are ten core life skills that encompass who we are as individuals. Having these skills can help youth thrive in the fields of employment, interpersonal relationships as well as health and wellbeing. While they are being practiced in the classroom, parents play a large role in helping children develop abilities at home. Here is an article outlining a number of skills that every child/teen should know and can obtain during the pandemic.
