How to Talk to Our Students When Bad Things are Happening

This year has been trying for adults and children alike.  The coronavirus crisis has posed unique worries and has stimulated conversations with students in which educators must find ways to address and respect concerns while tempering their own anxieties as well.  The events that happened on January 6th in Washington, D.C. were additionally thought-provoking and worrisome for citizens young and old.
